Activity checklist
If you are visiting DEC managed parks, you’ll need to contact the park manager or agency that manages the locations you’ll be visiting. Tell them your plans to hold your outing at their location. In case of an emergency, it will help significantly if they are aware in advance that you are in the park and this also enables them to ensure the facilities will be ready for you. Some local councils require you to obtain permission if using their facilities as part of a large group. Contact your local council or ranger for further information.
