Mundaring Weir Road, Mundaring. (40 minutes east of Perth CBD)

• Situated in an attractive bush setting, Mundaring Weir is one of the world's greatest engineering projects. Completed in 1903, it is the start of the water pipeline that pumps water to agricultural areas and the Kalgoorlie goldfields, some 700 kilometeres in all. There are beautiful landscaped park areas planted with trees from all over the world as well as walk trails, children's play area and BBQs.
