10km south of York along the road to Beverley.

• It is one of the few reserves along the Avon River offering a riverine floodplain and native bushland with modern public facilities. Gwambygine Park is an ideal picnic spot with free gas barbecues, a children's playground and other facilities. A boardwalk and viewing tower will take you right to the riverpool and close to nature without disturbing the environment.
