Nature Play School Geo-Challenge - Rottnest 2014

Congratulations 2014 Nature Play Geo-Challengers!

Well done to the thirty eight teams of students and teachers who worked so hard in our second annual high-tech treasure hunting game on Rottnest Island!

They braved rough seas and a decent douse of rain but in the end we had loads of grinning kids on bikes who had a brilliant time at the school Geo-Challenge on 9 May.

Not only did you get the chance to use the Island as your outdoor classroom but some of you even got a few seconds of fame on the Channel 10 news report!

A big congratulations to South Lake Primary School for their first place finish this year, followed closely by the St Mary's Anglican Girls' School!

While the event was really all about participating and having fun, we know some of you will be curious to see if your point score placed you in the top ten:

We hope this event will inspire you to continue geocaching with your family and to encourage your students to give it a go at home with their families.

On behalf of the Rottnest Island Authority and Nature Play WA teams, we want to thank all the participating teachers and students for their effort and enthusiasm. We had a lot of fun and hope you did too!
