Play And The City

At Nature Play WA we are all about outdoor fun.

Street Art

So, what is not to love about the transformation of something as boring as a public bench seat into a playful and whimsical piece of street art?  If you are in Perth city check out the new bird cage swinging seats at the historical Moreton Bay Fig tree on Murray Street (towards the hospital).  Children will love the magical feel of the seats hanging in the shadows of this majestic tree.

While you are in the city here are some other fun urban outdoor play ideas:

Forrest Place fountains

Take a splash in the water fountains at Forrest Place.  They are right next to a coffee shop too, a perfect post-shopping break!

Check out some of the amazing public art around Perth.  A great informal and easily accessible introduction to art for children.  Wolf Lane is a great place to start.

Take a stroll through the Urban Orchard and wetlands at the Perth Cultural Centre.  There is also a great musical play space just around the corner at the museum.

Thanks to the team at The City of Perth for bringing play back to the CBD!
