Hear how Talitha’s passion for birds and the environment inspired her to write a book at the age of 14-16.

Join us at CREEC for a talk by Talitha Huston, author and photographer of Birds of the Perth Hills, as she talks about the wide range of birds that you may see in your backyard or in natural bushland and river areas. These birds range from Honeyeaters to Cockatoos, Wrens, Pigeons, Thornbills and many more. Talitha will also talk about photography tips for different birds and introduce you to her ‘Skittish Rating”.

Her presentation includes a short film Talitha has produced on local birds. Talitha’s book will also be available to purchase. Her book was edited by Eric McCrum (ABC Birdman) with a foreword by Simon Cherriman (Eagleman).
