Kings Park and Botanic Garden Event

Kings Park’s Nature Play Day & Cultural Walking Tour

Join us as we explore Kings Park and Botanic Garden this April!

This photograph shows an aerial walkway that was built through and over green trees. The walkway has a brown wooden path. The beams and netting of the structure are grey, with some parts featuring brown wood panels. Children are on either side of the walkway, with two (2) kids walking toward the right and looking at the camera. The blue sky can be seen above the structure and tree foliage.

Looking for an awesome way to spend some quality time with your family and get back to nature? Then look no further than Nature Play Day at the Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park, happening on Saturday 15 April 2023 from 9:30am to 2:30pm!

Get up close and personal with some of Australia's most beloved native animals, build an awesome cubby, race bush boats down Paperbark Creek, and explore the magical fairy door trail. Say kaya to local Noongar presenters and more!

Make sure to stop by the Nature Play WA marquee. Our friendly team will be on hand to answer your questions about our Every Kid in a Park project and provide you with a copy of our brand new resources for Kings Park and Botanic Garden.

These resources are filled with fun and educational activities that will help you and your family explore the park and learn about the amazing plants and animals that call it home.
