Nature Play WA's Statement on the Voice to Parliament Referendum

Nature Play WA acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities have been nurturing children and young people through connection to country for many thousands of years.

We believe that as a country, we can and should do more for reconciliation. We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart to walk together for a better future.

The Nature Play WA board and staff support an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament as an important step in the reconciliation journey.

We Acknowledge
Nature Play WA acknowledges the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, as the custodians of the land where our team lives and works. We also acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and recognise the continuing connection of Indigenous people to their land, waters, sky, culture and community. We pay our respect to all Indigenous people of this land; ancestors, elders and young ones.
