What is the Play Anywhere Trail?
The Play Anywhere Trail, found on the free Play Trails app, guides children and families through simple, engaging, nature-based activities, allowing them to explore, create, and play anywhere, without any special equipment.
To try it out, download the free Play Trails app, tap 'Redeem Invitation' and enter the code ANYWHERE.
Why participate?
Promoting the Play Anywhere Trail launch and competition is a great way to introduce this free resource, encouraging community visits to parks.
Participants in the launch can enter a draw to win a Nature Play WA ‘Play Anywhere Kit,’ valued at over $150, which includes tools for spontaneous outdoor play.
The first regional areas to join will receive an extra prize kit, including Every Kid in a Park merchandise and one Play Anywhere Kit, for a local winner
The Play Anywhere Trail is proudly supported by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, as part of the Every Kid in a Park program.

Get involved in three simple steps:
- Register to take part in the Play Anywhere Trail launch using the buttons above.
- Plan your involvement: Choose to promote the trail during a community event or as a school holiday activity for example. The launch competition runs from 16th December 2024 to 31st January 2025, but the trail will remain open for enjoyment afterward.
- Spread the word: Share the Play Anywhere Trail with the community using ready-made social media tiles and resources to be provided by Nature Play WA.
