Bring your outdoor play space to life with a Nature Play WA guided Play Space Workshop for staff!
Our Play Space Workshops are designed to help you uncover the hidden play potential of your school or service’s outdoor space. We will work directly with your team to build confidence, inspire ideas, and plan purposeful steps forward!
What Does a Play Space Workshop Involve?
We believe every space has the potential to become a rich, engaging environment for unstructured nature play; sparking curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature. In this two-part workshop session at your school or centre, Nature Play WA facilitators will:
- Engage and educate: We lead an inspiring and informative session with your team, exploring nature play principles and how they can be applied within your outdoor play space.
- Facilitate a collaborative audit: Together with your team, we assess your current outdoor area to identify opportunities – from simple, achievable improvements to ideas for larger scale changes.
Why Choose a Play Space Workshop?
By taking part in a Play Space Workshop with Nature Play WA, your team will:
- Build a shared understanding of best-practice nature play,
- Gain fresh insight and inspiration for your outdoor environment,
- Identify practical opportunities for improvement,
- Feel more confident and informed when engaging designers or planners, and
- Save time and money by approaching upgrades with a clear, strategic vision.
