Just like the name suggests, Rottnest Express is the fastest way to get to Rottnest. They pick up passengers from three key terminals: the Barrack Street Jetty in Perth, and from the more southern B-Shed and Northport terminals in Fremantle. Passengers embarking at Barrack Street are treated to a beautiful journey down the Swan River, before arriving in Fremantle (at either B-Shed or Northport). The Rottnest Express ferry then heads straight out into the Indian Ocean, bearing on the horizon towards Rottnest Island. In under an hour our passengers are on dry land, ready to begin their Rottnest adventure.

Rottnest Express runs daily services with a frequent and convenient ferry schedule. Because of this, they can also offer you the best deals on ferry rides, bike hire, island tours and more.

Great value deals every day, all year round.

Rottnest is busiest in summer and over school holidays, but these are not the only times you can find a great deal on a trip to Rottnest Island. Thanks to the beautiful Mediterranean climate that Perth experiences, Rottnest Island is accessible all year round, with each season offering its own unique attractions, so Rottnest Express offer great deals all year round too. In fact, you can find a great deal every day.

Rottnest Express celebrated joining the Friends of Nature Play WA program in April 2016 with a generous prize for our members: A Family Same Day Return Ferry and Bike Hire Package, valued at $390, for two adults and two children, offering the prize again in 2017.
