Serpentine National Park Events

We’re exploring Serpentine National Park this September with two free events!

A photo taken by a drone directly over Serpentine Falls. There are two (2) pools of turquoise water separated by rocks and a man-made path. There are three (3) people swimming in the water on the left, and small groups of people sitting on the rocks. Green trees surround the pools.

Guided Hike following Stacey’s Loop

Join Nature Play WA and The Hike Collective for an interactive family-friendly hike along the Stacey’s Loop trail in Serpentine National Park.

Stacey’s Loop is a 1.9 kilometre trail that loops and winds through jarrah forests and over bridges crossing the Gooralong Brook. This is a quiet and peaceful walk surrounded by wildflowers with opportunities to see and hear native fauna including blue wrens, king and green parrots, cockatoos, kangaroos, frogs and more.

This is an interactive guided walk, and children will be provided with a nature bingo sheet and pencil.

Every Kid in a Park at Serpentine Falls

Join Nature Play WA for a morning at the beautiful Serpentine Falls, with families invited to take part in mindfulness activities with Mindfulness in Nature, build a cubby with Educated by Nature or share in faerie magic with our friends the Eco Faeries.

There will be four mindfulness activities for families to take part in, each running for approximately 15 minutes. These activities have been designed to connect families with the present moment, and the nature around them.
