Nature Play WA offers a range of services to support unstructured play in our community and educational institutions.

Engaging Outdoor Learning - Professional Workshops

Nature Play WA is excited to be offering a range of education based, pedagogical professional learning opportunities. The Engaging Outdoor Learning workshop suite offers educators (Teachers, Administrators, Education Assistants and Student Teachers) the opportunity to explore the possibilities of using outdoor spaces in their school and local community as learning spaces and Outdoor Classrooms and the confidence to engage with Nature Pedagogy.

The series currently includes three separate, full day workshops that explore different levels of engagement with Outdoor Classrooms and can be attended as stand alone experiences or combined to provide an extensive experience contributing to professional development and pedagogical change.

Nature Play Space Workshops

Nature Play WA is excited to offer Nature Play Spaces Workshops, providing you with the tools to undertake the process of transforming your outdoor space to a nature play space.

Nature Play Consulting

Our primary role is to advocate for the importance of unstructured play outdoors to parents, schools, local governments and decision makers. We do this through programs, like the Passport to an Amazing Childhood, our website and newsletters, events and by working directly with stakeholders.

As well as advocacy Nature Play WA also helps schools, government and developers create nature play strategies to help encourage active and creative play outdoors.
