Yagan Mia Wireless Hill Park

Telefunken Drive, Ardross

Yagan Mia Wireless Hill, a 40-hectare park in Ardross, is the location of a former indigenous lookout and smoke signalling place that was later the site of the Applecross Wireless Station. The station buildings now house a museum and the spacious park grounds include a war memorial, lookout, nature play space, picnic facilities, and a unique urban bushland area with several signposted walking paths to explore.

Walking trails throughout surrounding bushland include interpretive signage and are particularly popular in wildflower season.

An observation tower, once known as Yagan’s Lookout, sits at the top of the hill and offers the most incredible 360หš views of the river, district and city.
