Play Space Audits
Our process for auditing existing play spaces includes;
- On-Site Visit & Assessment: Nature Play WA will conduct a thorough audit of your current play spaces, evaluating them within the broader context of the community’s overall play opportunities.
- Recommendations & Guidance: Based on the assessment, we’ll provide tailored recommendations on how to enhance or transform your outdoor areas to support nature play. This may include suggestions for natural elements, layouts, or innovative play spaces that align with your organisation’s vision.
Children & Community Consultation Workshops
We can consult with all relevant stakeholders through;
- Children Consultation Workshops: Our half day workshops are designed to engage children in the planning process. Through hands-on activities and discussions, children share their ideas and preferences for the types of play elements they would like to see in the new space. This approach results in a custom-designed space tailored to the community that also fosters a sense of ownership and pride in the new play area.
- Community Consultation Workshops: In addition to children’s workshops, we offer education sessions with parents, community members, and other stakeholders to collaboratively develop policies and long-term plans for nature play. These workshops focus on aligning the needs of the broader community with the nature play vision, ensuring inclusive, well-rounded input.
