Campaigns

Nature Play WA is the leading advocate organisation in Western Australia promoting the rights of children to play and learn outdoors and in nature.

Our team's work over the past decade has seen our organisation build strong connections with parents, educators and the wider community, and become a trusted voice in the space.

Our message is simple: children need (and deserve) the time and space to play and learn outdoors and in nature,

  • for their mental and physical health and wellbeing,
  • to support their creativity and social development,
  • to provide risk-taking and resilience-building opportunities, and
  • to build a connection to the world around them

We work with like-minded organisations who value our children, recognise the need to support them, and who want to make real and lasting positive change in their lives.

We Acknowledge
Nature Play WA acknowledges the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, as the custodians of the land where our team lives and works. We also acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and recognise the continuing connection of Indigenous people to their land, waters, sky, culture and community. We pay our respect to all Indigenous people of this land; ancestors, elders and young ones.
