Younger children will have fun in the playground, making sandcastles and paddling in the calm waters, while older kids can fish from the jetty, walk and talk along the foreshore, and enjoy the open river setting.ย 

The huge fig tree near Leake Street is a standout feature – perfect for climbing, swinging, exploring, and cooling off in the shade.ย 

Dogs are allowed on lead, though families should note that the road runs close to parts of the foreshore and most walking is on grass or sand surfaces, unless you cross to the footpath side of the road.ย
