Nature Play WA’s new app helps teenage girls be more active

For the last 6 months Nature Play WA has been working with a group of teenage girls to co-design a solution to help them stay active.

Kath Healy, from Nature Play WA, joined Kirste and Dan to tell us more about this project. “From 11-years-old girls physical activity drastically drop and there are lots of reasons why.” The app is called ‘Talk N Walk’ which is ready to be tested! So mums and daughters, check out their Facebook page that give you all the information you need and how to get involved in testing the app.

“Its about getting out walking with your mates. It’s got conversation starters and sticker reward. It also asks them to rate their mood before and after.
