Conducted by Play Wales, this is a comprehensive review of recent research and social policy surrounding the importance of childhood and play, including evidence for how playing contributes to wellbeing, the nature of children’s play today, and the role of adult support for play.
Nature Play and Child Wellbeing: Australian Institute of Family Studies
A review of the literature concerning the impact of nature play on children’s social and emotional wellbeing. With a focus on early childhood (ages 0–5), a critical period for developing a child’s connection to nature the review explores how to foster the beneficial effects.
