Walk N Find Nature Scavenger Hunt

This is a scavenger hunt unlike any other! It will encourage children of all ages to busy outdoors in nature, treasure hunting with all of their senses! It’s perfect for families, class groups and for use by children’s community groups. It can be used in any nature based environment – park, schoolyard, backyard, beach or bush!

What You’ll Need:

• The printable Sensory Nature Scavenger Hunt page (download instructions below).
• A marker, pen or pencil
  
• Optional: Laminate the printed Scavenger Hunt page to make it reusable with dry-erase markers.

Instructions:

• Head outdoors into nature.
• Choose a descriptive word from the page and find an object in nature to match the word. Then choose a different descriptive word for a new hunting challenge.
• Alternatively, for an additional challenge, try to find an object in nature that matches two, three or more words.
• Older children might like the challenge of working together or competing to find an object in nature that matches the most words from the page.
