With four distinct zones for family fun outdoors, the Koolaanga Waabiny Playground on Mandurah’s western foreshore offers something for everyone – from the fenced, junior playground to the 12 metre tall climbing tower, a youth zone with skate park & basketball half court to thoughtfully placed seating areas, dual use pathways, amenities and small beach inlets, all with beautiful estuary views.

Inspired by local Swamp Sheoak trees (Koolyaanga), the play tower incorporates a 3 metre long accessible ramp to the first level, high lookout pods with binoculars, speaking tubes running from the top to bottom of the structure, monkey bars, a smaller double slide and a tall, spiral slide.

Accessible play equipment includes swings suitable for all ages and abilities, a flat entry carousel, musical equipment and the tower ramp.

A small boardwalk shaded by trees leads to a series of cubby pods, perfect for pretend or quiet play.
