Spring Into Parks: Explore 101 National Parks & 17 Marine Parks in WA

It’s like a month-long bingo with parks around WA.

Springtime in Perth is definitely something to behold, tourists come from all over the world to experience Perth in its prime, however, it seems us locals sometimes take our amazing state for granted.

Sure our beaches receive countless national awards and are known the world over, but it’s also our national parks that are the unsung heroes of the Perth spring. It’s where our wildflowers blossom, rivers thrive, and many of our native animals come out to play.

To showcase our stunning national parks and marine parks, this September, the WA Parks Foundation is celebrating spring with 30 days of nature and adventure.

Or, if you’re looking for something to keep the little ones entertained, and at the same time immersed in nature, you can’t go past Cubby Town at Yanchep National Park.

Returning in 2019, as Nature Play WA’s biggest event, Cubby Town, celebrates family time outdoors through a range of nature play activities and construction of more than 1,000 cubbies.
