Conversation typically flows more freely when you’re walking and our Talk N Walk conversation prompt cards provide valuable conversation prompts and simple outdoor activity challenges to encourage participants to spend time connecting whilst walking together.

Designed to support young people to be more physically active and mentally healthy, this unique set of Talk N Walk conversation cards has been designed to encourage the act of taking a social walk outdoors with classmates, friends or family.

Taking a walk with Talk N Walk cards involves using the provided conversation prompts to engage meaningful discussion. Participants may also choose to complete a short nature activity challenge while walking. The act of taking a Talk N Walk;

• Encourages communication and social connection,
• Promotes creative thinking,
• Increases levels of physical activity, and
• Encourages social connection,

All of which are key to mental health and wellbeing.

Co-designed in consultation with over 100 children and young people, the Talk N Walk Conversation Cards deck includes 66 conversation prompts and simple challenge cards, printed by a local, environmentally conscious printing company onto recycled card stock and laminated for durability.

The card pack includes five types of Talk N Walk conversation cards;

• The green prompts support ‘getting to know you’ discussions,
• The purple prompts are intended to spark creativity and imagination,
• The pink prompts foster growth mindset and mindfulness,
• The blue prompts feature simple nature-based challenges for students to complete as they Talk N Walk, and
• The blank prompt cards are for perfect for creating your own classroom or family specific discussion points.
