National Parks for Kids Every Kid in a Park Program

WA National Parks for Kids

Every Kid in the Park shines a spotlight on twenty family-friendly national parks within Western Australia. These parks have been selected from all across the state – from John Forrest National Park in Perth to Karijini National Park in the Pilbara.

For each park, families will find important information regarding entry requirements, accessibility, the flora and fauna of the local area and safety, as well as a library of kid-friendly resources to support your fun and exploration.

The Every Kid in the Park free family resource library features a range of fun, interactive nature play activities for families to use whilst exploring the unique natural assets of Western Australia. ย

Development of these resources focused on an accessible design and whilst some are location specific, many can be used across a wide range of outdoor settings, including local parks, nature reserves, beaches and national parks.

Location specific resources can be found on each of the national park pages listed above or you can visit the full library of Every Kid in the Park resources via the button below.
