The Nature Play WA ‘Passport to an Amazing Childhood’ program is an exciting, interactive and fun way to get active and outdoors!
The idea is to get kids (3-12+) outside by completing a series of fun, low (or no) cost "missions".
Watch a short video of the passport system before you get started.
Missions are delivered through our signature passport booklet, available free to Western Australians.
The passport has ten "mission" pages, stickers and suggestions on great places to go and things to do outdoors. Also, at the back, there is a list of '15 things every kid should do before they’re 12.'
For those looking for more missions, an exciting online interface (which is optimised for smart phones and tablets), allows kids to earn virtual points for completing outdoor activities. These points can be used to build avatars and to win great prizes!
The online interface includes more than 200 missions, great prizes and more.
It is all about getting kids (3-12+) to run, jump, climb, splash, invent and play!
What's on offer?
- Easy to use online interface.
- Heaps of missions.
- Optimised for smart phones and tablets.
- Option to skip missions kids don’t like.
- Collect points to build an avatar.
- WIN awesome prizes.
Passports have been offered to P&Cs at primary schools around Western Australia. If you are at a school that has not received passports and would like to, ask your P&C to make a bulk order (more than 20) for your school. We are also happy to post bulk orders of passports to playgroups, day care centres, sporting associations, or any group that works with children aged 3-12.
