Eco Eyes : Wildlife Monitoring

April 8 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

$20
From AUD$20.00
  • Duration: 120 Minutes (approx.)
  • Location: Neil Hawkins Park, 200 Boas Ave Joondalup, WA

Animals that live in our areas can be really sneaky. Some come out at night when we are sleeping or hide quietly in the bushes to stay safe. This makes it hard to know what animals live nearby. Scientists use special tools to learn about these animals and help keep them safe.

Join us at Neil Hawkins Park in the City of Joondalup as we explore these tools and techniques together. Plus, you’ll get to join in a fun citizen science project with Birdlife where you can help scientists study birds!

This is a ‘drop and leave’ activity suitable for children 8 – 15 years of age. Tickets must be purchased for participating children only. The ages for each activity are in place for your children to get the most out of their activity and due to safety and management on a drop-off activity we cannot allow older or younger children to participate. We appreciate your understanding in booking only children who are age appropriate into activities.

If you have any questions about this activity, please email N2N@dbca.wa.gov.au

Please do not attend if any of your family members are unwell and displaying possible Covid-19 symptoms. If any of the attending members arrive with a cough, runny nose or fever, Nearer to Nature has the right to ask that you not participate in the activity.
